School Community Council Meeting – March 13, 2024

Council Members Present: Ryan Durant, Marie Seager, Cassie Smith, Jacey Wickham

Non-Members Present: Randall Seltz

1. Roll Call and Welcome

1. Approve February Meeting Minutes
   1. Marie made a motion to approve the minutes from February. Cassie seconded the motion. Unanimous approval.

1. Business Items
   1. TSSP/Land Trust
      1. Ryan discussed the budget and what budget items will be coming out before the end of the year. We are still on track for rolling over about 10% of the budget.
      2. Ryan said he would go through the plan and adjust the percentages to reflect the needs of the school for next year. Our FTE will be reduced by 2.5 for next year, so there will be a need to supplement the FTE (e.g. pay the salary of teachers) with the funding from the Land Trust and TSSP.
      3. Ryan discussed each of the goals for the 2024-2025 Land Trust and TSSP. Each action item and the associated cost was discussed.
      4. To attempt to supplement the After School Program, Ryan said he is applying for a grant that will provide more funding.

   1. Currently planning for next year’s schedule and working on setting up the annual Career Fair for 8th grade students.
