It is that time of the year where AVID is doing the annual Giving for Good Fundraiser! Giving for Good will go through December 14th.
This year, we are doing a few things differently. We will be collecting money for families in need in our community this year via Successfund. Students can also drop food bank donations in bins found in each commons area(one upstairs, one downstairs). AVID will be emptying bins twice a week and placing in the library to display till the food bank comes to pick everything up on December 16th.
Bins will be out in the commons of each house and elective will be down by P.E. and then one down by band and choir.
This year, the competition will be between houses and electives. The top 2 teams will get donuts and milk for their 5th period classes. Each item brought in is worth 1 point. Students should put food donations in the bin based on the 5th period class they have.
