Welcome & call meeting to order/rollcall

- April meeting minutes review and approval Motion C. Smith, second H. Jones, approved unanimously.

- Timeline
- School Safety Report was posted to CSD dashboard.
- 2023/2024 SCC First meeting – Sept 6 @ 5:00
- Data review- TSSP/Land Trust
- D and F data School Climate Goal was not met, however data shows in most areas Term-3 2022/23 is similar or better than Term3 21/22. There is a strong academic link with D and F data and attendance, students late to class as well as not coming to school.
- Academic School Goal measures, the RI/MI data shows growth with the RI at a 9%, (goal of 15%) move of students to Proficient on the spring administration, while MI exceeding the goal (20%) of proficiency.
- Budgets
- On track, large expenses such as Math 180, conference registration and summer bridge preparation costs are still pending.
- Anticipating budgets to be within the 10% contingency (surplus).
- School Safety/ Drills planned this month:
- Great Utah Shake Out went well, nothing planned this month
- Counselor’s Report
- Continue working on schedules for next year
- Discussion that there has been an increased need in student support. A parent asked what resources are available to parents specifically mental wellbeing and examples of cutting and anger management.
- The district has some assistance available throughout the academic year – listed on the CSD web site under Students & Parents and the supports tab. - The SafeUT app is linked as well.
- Discussions were had of a possible parent Square Message, probably more district level, but possibly also from MJMS of these resources.
- Faculty Report
- RISE underway, will finish next week
- Looking forward and preparations are being made for the upcoming Summer Bridge
- Principal’s Report
- MJMS was recommended for the Elevate School Program.
- Comes with support for an improvement coach for our school
- 4 year program targeted on growth and academic success
- Facility should know if selected by the end of May.
- Lagoon day Tuesday May 23rd for 8th graders
- Awards Assembly May 24th
- Field Day May 25th
