The Mt. Jordan Middle School choirs will be performing their holiday concert on Tuesday, December 16. The performance begins at 7:00 PM in the Kiva at Mt. Jordan. Admission is free for all. Seating space in the Kiva is limited, and with the number of students we have performing, seats will fill up quickly, so plan on coming early to get a good seat.
Three choirs will be featured at this concert: Our 6th grade choir, called "The Treblemakers," our Mixed Choir, and our Advanced Concert Choir. There will be nearly 160 students participating in this concert. The performance includes songs celebrating the winter season, as well as several holidays celebrated at this time of year from around the world.
We hope to see you there!

We live in a world surrounded by technology. And we know that whatever field our students choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly hinge on understanding how technology works. But only a tiny fraction of us are learning computer science, and less students are studying it than a decade ago. That’s why our entire school is joining in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, during Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 8-14). Last year, 15 million students tried computer science in one week. This year, we're joining students worldwide to reach 100 million students!
An upcoming art project in Mrs. Kemp's class needs tin cans and plastic bottles – any size/shape will do! If families have a can of soup or veggies or a bottled soda, water, or juice please consider saving the container for Mount Jordan. Clean the container and either drop off your cans and bottles at the main office or to Mrs. Kemp's classroom directly until January 5th!
Let's fill her classroom with recycled cans and bottles! Thank you!
